A special holiday that celebrates the birth of Prince Siddharta Gautama. This holiday is known to be observed by Buddhists. Waisak or Vesak’s date varies each year according to the Gregorian calendar, it is usually celebrated in April or May but sometimes on leap years it is celebrated in June. Some of the rituals form a resemblance to the Balinese Hindus. The celebration occurs in many locations in Bali like Singaraja Wihara Dharmagiri, Pupuan, Nusa Dua, Kuta Wihara Buddha Sakyamuni, Vihara Amurva Bumi, Blahbatuh Gianyar, and Banjar.
