After nearly 350 years; the sacred Agni Hotra is being once again revived for its remarkable effects on physical, mental, spiritual, and cosmic conditions.
Agni Hotra is an ancient sacred tradition originated from India. It was performed by a priest and done every day at times of sunrise and sunset.
In Bali, the ritual was embraced and fused with animistic rituals, however, a long time ago it completely fell out of practice. And apparently this had to change!
Many anecdotal stories had mentioned the healing effects of this ritual on its participants, in addition to its purifying, energizing benefits to the surrounding environment, and the whole world.
Agni Hotra is considered one of the highest Vedic rituals, and only trained priests can initiate such practice, by making offerings of ghee and grains into the fire while reciting Sanskrit mantras to invoke blessings of health and abundance. Other participants are also welcome to join them at specific time by offering rice into the fire as a symbol of divine light.
If you’re looking for a different spiritual experience; the ceremony is taking place on 7th of August, 2017 in Ubud, Bali.
