Galungan is a huge holiday that certifies and celebrates every year the Hinduism spreading in Bali It is celebrated right after the Saka New Year. There are prayers and offerings occurring in village temples and family shrines on the 30th of May. Galungan is celebrated twice in one Gregorian year. As in Bali they have a 210-day calendar or Pawukon, this calendar marks all rituals, holidays and temple anniversaries. Galungan is once again celebrated on December 25-27.
